What's included
Each visit covers the kitchen, every bathroom, and the living areas and bedrooms you use. In the kitchen that means counters, the stovetop, the outside of appliances, the sink and the floor. Bathrooms get toilets, tubs, showers, sinks, mirrors and floors. Throughout the house we dust reachable surfaces, wipe down light switches and door handles, vacuum carpets and rugs, and mop hard floors. Beds are made if the linens are out, and trash is emptied. The team follows the same checklist every visit so nothing is skipped when a different person is assigned. Things outside the standard scope, such as inside the oven or the refrigerator, belong in a deep clean, which can be added when you need one.
Why recurring cleaning works in North Florida
Tallahassee homes fight a particular set of problems. Humidity means bathrooms grow mildew faster than in drier places, and the long pollen season coats every horizontal surface with yellow dust from the pines each spring. Doors stay closed and the air conditioner runs eight or nine months a year, so dust and pet hair recirculate instead of blowing out. A regular cleaning keeps all of that from building to the point where it takes a full day to catch up. Weekly works well for busy households and homes with pets, biweekly is a comfortable middle ground, and monthly suits smaller homes or people who keep up in between and want the bathrooms and floors reset.
Booking and your dashboard
Choose your frequency and a preferred day, and tell us how to get in and anything the team should know, from a gate code to a cat that bolts. The first visit is confirmed in your Residely dashboard with the team member's name. After that, each following visit is placed on the calendar automatically at your chosen interval, and you can skip or move one from the dashboard when travel or guests get in the way. The same people are assigned to your home whenever the schedule allows, so they learn how you like things. You pay per visit after the cleaning is complete, and the invoice sits in the same dashboard as your lawn, pest or pool service.
Questions about home cleaning
- How often should I schedule home cleaning in Tallahassee?
- Biweekly suits most households of three or four with normal traffic. Weekly makes sense with pets, small children or allergies, especially during spring pollen. Monthly keeps bathrooms and floors in shape for a smaller home. You can change the frequency any time from your dashboard.
- Do I need to be home, and do I supply the products?
- You do not need to be home. Many customers leave a key, a code or a smart-lock entry, which is stored with your property details. The team brings its own supplies and equipment. If you prefer a specific product on a surface, leave it out and note it in your account.
- Will I get the same cleaner each visit?
- We assign the same team member or pair whenever scheduling allows, because consistency is what makes a recurring clean feel effortless. When someone is out, the replacement works from the same checklist and your property notes, and you will see who is coming in your dashboard before the visit.
