What the flat price includes
One TV, mounted properly. The partner confirms the wall can carry the weight, locates studs or uses the correct anchors for block or masonry, attaches the bracket you supply or one they bring, hangs the TV and levels it to the eye rather than just the bubble. Cables are bundled and tucked behind the set, and if you want them hidden entirely inside the wall, say so when booking so the partner brings an in-wall cable kit and can quote the small addition. Soundbars and streaming boxes get attached at the same time. The packaging goes out with the installer. If you have more than one TV, each additional set is the same flat price.
Walls, mounts and Tallahassee homes
Tallahassee houses are a mix. Newer subdivisions have standard wood-stud drywall, which is the easy case. Many older homes in Midtown, Lafayette Park and Frenchtown have plaster over lath, and plenty of block homes built after the 1950s have concrete walls inside the garage conversion or Florida room. Each needs different hardware, and a mount pulled out of a wall is the expensive version of saving a few minutes. Over a fireplace, the partner checks the heat and the viewing angle before drilling. Full-motion arms, tilting mounts and fixed low-profile brackets each have a place; tell us the TV size and where it is going and the partner arrives with what fits.
Booking and the day of the install
Book online, choose a window and note the TV size, the wall type if you know it, and whether you already have a mount. Residely assigns a verified partner whose insurance is on file and confirms the appointment in your dashboard. The install generally takes under two hours for a standard wall. The partner will ask you to confirm height and placement before the first hole is drilled, then mount, level, connect and tidy. You check the picture, the remote and the cable run before they leave. Payment runs through Residely after the work is done, and if you ever move the TV to another room, the job record shows exactly what hardware went in.
Questions about tv mounting
- Do I need to buy the mount?
- You can supply your own mount or ask the partner to bring one sized to your TV. If you want the partner to supply it, say so when booking and the mount is added to your invoice. Either way, the labor is the same flat price per TV.
- Can you hide the cables inside the wall?
- Usually, yes. On a standard drywall interior wall the partner can install an in-wall cable pass-through so only the TV is visible. Exterior walls, masonry and walls with fire blocking can limit this. Mention it when you book TV mounting in Tallahassee so the right kit is on the truck.
- Will mounting a TV damage my wall?
- A correctly installed mount leaves only the holes for its lag bolts, which are hidden behind the TV. The partner anchors into studs or uses hardware rated for your wall type, so the mount stays put. If you later remove it, the holes patch like any other small drywall repair.
